Research Fellows

On 14 January 2010, the Centre for European Security (CES) agreed to adopt the previous guidelines governing the election of Research Fellows (RFs) to the European Studies Research Institute (which were agreed by the ESRI Board on 18 June 2008), specifically with a view to encouraging the development of a network of research partners in the United Kingdom and abroad in those areas in which the research centre specialises. Research Fellows are elected by the CES membership as a result of a specific proposal made by a CES member, but contingent upon the decision of the next meeting of the Centre that the proposed Research Fellow possesses sufficient academic merit in terms of their research record and associated activities and that he/she fulfils the criteria for the appointment of Research Fellows.
